Whilst your moving company will do their upmost to achieve a seamless move, there's also a whole load of things you can be organizing to help smooth the process along. Here's a few suggestions to help you plan a successful office move day:
Book an Office Moving Company

Review of Furniture & Equipment
Do an inventory of all office furniture and equipment that's going to the new office. Not all items are worth taking. They may be too large for the new space configuration, or may not fit within the style and design of your new interior.
Now is the time to clear out what you won't need in the future so that your office moving company can provide a fixed estimate for what needs to be packed and transported.
Make sure you tell your moving company about particularly valuable and breakable items - and also ensure they are sufficiently covered under your business insurance policy. Your treasured belongings are far more likely to be damaged when moving.
Plan IT Relocation
It's a good idea to plan your IT relocation separately from the move. This is only because of the sensitive nature of IT equipment that means that it needs to be packed and re-commissioned with a great deal of care.
More importantly, it's your IT equipment that needs to be working first and foremost so that any business downtime can be minimized. You may need to call upon an IT & Telecom Solution Provider to transfer your equipment and get it set up quickly.
